Chatilus is built around local import, local storage and local search. Your conversation data stays on your device by default.
No account. No cloud upload by default. No telemetry in the current version.

Where desktop data lives
On Windows, the library is typically stored under your application data folder (historically related to the early ChatLens package id). Open ⋯ → Privacy & Data in the app to see the exact database path on your machine.
Some imports may cache export copies in an imports/ folder
next to the database. Uninstalling the app does not automatically delete
these files — remove the database and imports/ folder if you
want a full wipe.
This website
chatilus.app is a static site. It does not require an account and does not collect conversation content. Language preference may be stored in your browser's localStorage so the EN / 中文 switch can remember your choice.
